
Massimo Meda
Since 2016 Massimo Meda has been Head of Asset Governance for the Group’s Italian solar and wind companies.
Massimo Meda manages the owned assets, in line with the laws in force and the group policies.
After graduating in Electrical Engineering from the Milan Polytechnic and gaining experience in the submarine cables sector for Pirelli SpA (today Prysmian), he joined AEM (today a2a), where he was in charge of the tariff systems for energy products at the time under a monopoly regime.
With the liberalization of the electricity market in 1999, he heads the start-up of the energy division of the Camuzzi Group (later acquired by Enel).
In 2002 he moved to Atel Switzerland (today Alpiq), where he developed his presence on the Italian market for the supply to industrial customers and, first in Italy, started supplying resellers.
In 2007 he joined Actelios (now Renantis) and deals with agro-energy, developing wood biomass, vegetable oil and biogas projects.
With the birth of Renantis, he takes over the management of the Energy and Portfolio Management unit and starts the energy dispatching and trading company Renantis Energy Trading S.r.l.
From 2014 to 2016 he was Energy Director of the Terni steelworks for the German multinational ThyssenKrupp.
