Francesco Pesante

From 2020 he joined Renantis as Head of Thermal Generation.

Francesco Pesante coordinates a team of about 60 people in charge of the operation and maintenance of the Group’s heating systems, the commercial and operational management of fuels and by-products and the definition and implementation of plant improvements.

Since the beginning of 2021, he has also been Head of the Procurement and General Services unit, managing strategic purchases for the Italian SPVs and services/supplies for the Italian offices of the Group.

Born in Cava de’ Tirreni in 1982, he graduated with honors in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Salerno.

He began his professional career as a thermo-fluid dynamic and structural researcher in the Automotive and Industrial Plant Engineering fields, developing new products with innovative technologies.

In 2008 he joined Enel dealing with Operation and Maintenance for various Italian thermal plants of the Group.

Having moved to Chile in 2015, he held positions of increasing responsibility up to assuming the Management of the HSEQ Unit for the Group’s thermal companies operating in Chile and Argentina.
