20 November 2020 – The fifth edition of Cresco Award was held on November 19, 2020. The initiative, promoted by Fondazione Sodalitas, was organized within the XXXVII Anci Assembly.

We participated in this edition – as in 2019 – awarding the Municipality of L’Aquila for a participatory project of electric mobility, as part of the awards made available by the event’s partner companies, in the category "Bottom-up initiatives of local energy sustainability".

We awarded the scope of intervention and the participatory character of the project presented by the Municipality of L’Aquila. The objective of the project, which is to contribute to the reduction of climate-altering emissions in the transport sector, is part of a broader context outlined by the Piano Nazionale Integrato Energia e Clima – PNIEC (Italian Integrated Energy and Climate Plan). L’Aquila becomes part of this context, setting a virtuous example to be followed for other local realities. The actions envisaged by the project have also been identified through the organization of meetings and the implementation of proposals from local stakeholders, citizens, universities and associations.

It is with conviction that we continue to promote praiseworthy initiatives for local sustainability.
